Our village Motakpalli is a small village in Sedam Taluka, Gulbarga District, Karnataka State of India.

It is the most beautiful place. It has about 500 houses with apopulation of about 2000.

There is a most beautiful and big temple of Sri Bala Bheemasena God. The temple has a very big Vimana Gopura of about 100 feet and it is enthralling to see the temple in nights with the lights on.

This God is most powerful and many devotees come and visit this temple with Bhakthi. On every Amavasya many people come and seek the blessings of the God. In the month of December, on the full moon day the car festival- the annual fair is conducted and a large number of people gather here to perform the rituals. It goes for about a week to ten days.

A small fair is also held on the Ratha Sapthami day of the year.

Indian markets continue the volatility
